James "Jim" P. Gray (born February 14, 1945) is an American jurist, politician, drug law reform activist, and author. He was the presiding judge of the Superior Court of Orange County, California. Gray was the 2004 Libertarian candidate for the United States Senate in California. He is the author of multiple non-fiction books dealing with legal and political issues.
Gray is the 2012 vice-presidential candidate of the Libertarian Party, the running mate of former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson.
