Up there is a screenshot, early pre alpha footage of Rome 2: Total war. in 2004 any strategy gamer with a flair for the ancient world would have had their fill of the original Rome: Total War. The total war games are unique in that you dont control the standard 100-200 units of most strategy games. Here you control an entire army. there are thousands of guys fighting in a battle and it is epic. The original Rome is considered one of the best video games of all time and its sequel sounds like it shall not disappoint, with seamless land and sea battles, a campaign based on political competition as well as military conquest, and a promise that the game is designed to feel more 'human' and will try engage players emotionally. We will post a trailer up when they put up an actual gameplay trailer, and not this live action crap that makes it look like a TV show.
